3. LEGAL CAPACITY, REGISTRATION, AND ACCOUNT SECURITY

  • Exclusive Sale of Frames: BÚHMER strictly limits its operations to the sale of the physical frame structure. We do not provide optometry services, clinical consultations, vision refractions, or the cutting, surfacing, or mounting of prescription or corrective lenses.
  • Responsibility for External Customization: Any clear or demonstration lenses (demo lenses) included with the optical frames are purely referential and cosmetic. It is the absolute responsibility of the buyer to visit a licensed eye care professional or an authorized optical center of their choice to evaluate their prescription and install the appropriate corrective lenses into the purchased frame. BÚHMER shall not be held liable for any damage sustained by the frame if caused by external laboratories or third parties during the handling or lens mounting process.

5. TERMS OF USE FOR SAFETY GLASSES

The safety glasses marketed on this Website strictly comply with the technical and resistance specifications detailed in each product’s data sheet. The buyer assumes full responsibility for verifying that these specifications align with the mandatory occupational safety regulations of their workplace or country of residence. BÚHMER shall not be held liable for accidents, injuries, or damages resulting from the use of safety glasses in environments that exceed the resistance thresholds specified by the manufacturer.

6. PRICING, CURRENCY, AND PAYMENT PROCESSING

  • Pricing and Obvious Errors: All prices are displayed in United States Dollars (USD) or the designated local currency based on the user’s geolocation. BÚHMER reserves the right to correct obvious typographical errors in catalog pricing. In the event that a product is purchased under a manifestly erroneous price, BÚHMER may cancel the transaction and issue a 100% refund to the customer.
  • Discounts and Dynamic Pricing: Discounts, seasonal promotions, or welcome promotional codes will be applied strictly under the specific terms outlined for each campaign. BÚHMER acts strictly as an independent retailer of authentic products acquired through legitimate supply channels.
  • Limited Warranty: Since we are not the manufacturers of the frames, the warranty for each item is strictly subject to and limited by the policies stipulated by the original manufacturer or their authorized global distributor. BÚHMER guarantees the absolute authenticity of each product and will only cover clear manufacturing defects (such as faulty steel welding, defective acetate injection, or original hinge defects) during the coverage period. This warranty does not cover scratches on sun lenses occurring after delivery, breakages due to drops, crushing, exposure to chemicals, or misuse.
  • Claims Period: The user has a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the physical receipt of the product to report and initiate a formal claim process for manufacturing defects or discrepancies in the order received.
  • Condition of Products for Return: For a return or exchange to be accepted (where applicable), the frame must be returned in perfect condition, with no signs of having been handled or altered in external optical laboratories, retaining its original tags, brand case, microfiber cloth, and intact original packaging.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Primary Interpretation: As Búhmer LLC is a corporate entity established in the United States, this agreement and primary international transactions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, with the user expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that might correspond to them by reason of their residence.
